Help needed on satellite?

I have setup a motorised dis esq 1.2 satellite in my garden. I have managed to pick up Astra/Eurobird (ordinary satellite) at 28.2 East - it works if i connect the dreambox 500s directly to the LNB but not when it is connected via the motor. Can anyone help? is there any settings i have to change on the dreambox 500s?
