How many Britons have an apple slicer at home?

This may seem a odd question but it isn't. I'm making a comparative ysis of a translation from British English to Italian and "apple slicer" has been translated with "potato peeler", as virtually no-one has an apple slicer in Italy. I would like to know if this object is more common in British kitchens. Thank you!
