I ripped a film inside my Argus C4 - what would be the best thing to do?

It sounds like you found a good lab, one that knows how to handle film. If you believe you can remove the film safely and keep it in the changing bag, then go ahead and try that. If not, then just take the camera to the lab. Either way, explain to the most knowledgeable person there what happened.
