Is August a good month to catch the wildebeest migration in the Masai Mara?

Has anyone been in the Masai Mara towards the end of August. I am planning to be there this year with my 10-year-old daughter for 3 nights/4 days. Just wondered if we might stand a reasonable chance of catching some of the wildebeest migration and crossings at the Mara River.
