Jehovah's Witnesses, Did I do something wrong in asking the study conductor to review info I found online?

There is nothing wrong with asking questions, BUT you do need to be cautious where you go to get your answers. I have gotten off this site several times when I feel there are too many argumentative types, many don't really want answers, they want to be deceptive and stir up doubts in newer ones like yourself. Perhaps your conductor is just concerned for you, that's all. The Internet is a dangerous tool if we aren't careful. Going on links we know nothing about is especially dangerous, as it can lead you to where you don't want to go. You conductor is right that there are many apostates out there, as soon as I know there is one I block the user right away. But as one said, sometimes we just don't know WHO the other person is. Listen to your conductor, she has your best interests at heart. And pray to Jehovah about it, he's always there to help you in your decision making!
