Is this a bedbug? ANSWER IMMEDIATELY?
A bed bug is approximatley the size of an apple seed. Even with the distortion it didn't appear to be one. However you must remember that we are experiencing a pandemic of bed bugs in the U.S. at this time. Pest control companies are charging about 2 grand to treat your home. We had almost eradicated the pest when because of their indiscriminate breeding habits there was an explosion in the population. Given the fact that bed bugs can hide almost anywhere including behind light switch covers and behind receptacle covers. The newest eradication method is dogs trained to sniff out the little buggers, where they are dispatched using spray of frozen CO2. It your picture looked to big to be a bedbug, check along the edge of your mattress for any speckles of brown, which is the excrement of bedbugs. That's a very good way to see if you are being subjected to them.
